How we test

Every provider on this site is tested using a seed-list methodology: we send 200 messages per provider to controlled inboxes across Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and Apple Mail, then record where each message lands (primary inbox, promotions, spam, or bounced).

We run this test quarterly. Results are published at current IPR figures in every review and in the homepage scorecard. No other business email hosting comparison site publishes this data.

Our Q1 2026 test was run in March 2026 using GlockApps seed-list infrastructure. We pay for the tool. Nobody pays us to include their results.

We do not rank providers by affiliate commission rate. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 pay standard SaaS affiliate rates; Zoho Mail pays a lower commission rate. Zoho Free is our #1 recommendation for solo users despite paying $0 in commission.

If a vendor approaches us and offers to pay more for a higher ranking, we decline. The deliverability data determines ranking.

Who we are

BusinessEmailHosting.net is run by an independent operator. Edited by Max Yao. We do not have a CISSP, CIPP, or solicitor on retainer — and we do not pretend to. Our trust signal is primary-source citation density and original test data, not credentials.

For compliance-specific questions (HIPAA, SRA, GDPR), we link to primary sources: HHS.gov, ICO.org.uk, EDPB, and vendor-published DPA documentation. We do not offer legal advice.
